George and her new toy...

George is hoping to improve her training with this whizzy road bike- better than Nigel's old mountain bike that weighs a ton and has dodgy gears!!

Ash in the bath

Ash is super confident in the water now and loves playing cheeky games with us!

Holiday trick!

Evelyn discovered this trick for herself and loved repeating it about 50 times! She spent about 5 minutes at a time curled up inside!
Could be useful when we save up enough to head back to Blighty!

Kindergarten kids

Well dropped Evelyn off at Kindy for the afternoon. She hung up her bag and disappeared. When I found her she was in the staff room looking for a big puzzle to do outside. She is into puzzles at the moment. This is different to her normal routine - she usually paints a picture or goes to say hello to Frodo the bunny.Just off to pick Evelyn up. As Nigel is home sick today Ash gets a chance to sleep longer, normally I have to wake him from his nap (he copes with this very well).

Journeying into the blogosphere!!

Well i thought I would kick off with a huge well done to Benjy for all he has had to cope with of late- highs and lows indeed. well done on the birth of Luca. It was great talking on the phone and I can't wait to see photos of the happy family in their new home!! Weather has certainly turned freaky here of late- had lightening, torrential rain and hail, high winds and beautiful sunshine, and that was just today- I jest not!!
All the family are sick at the moment so Evelyn was in bed when I got home from school, Ash is the best of us- just a runny nose! George has but her Duathlon training on hold (http://www.sparc.org.nz/real-womens-duathlon)until she feels more human. i have capitulated and actually taken a day off work!
